Found out today my air con is goosed. I reckon it needs re gassed. I know Kwik Fit do it but they made an arse of gassing the wife's MX5. So I phoned Glasgow Audi. They said £60 for a straight regas or £70 for a regas with air freshener in the gas. Has anyone had it done with the freshener in it and is it any good. Also, does anyone know anywhere else around Glasgow that gas air con other than Kwik Fit. Cheers

Don't let Audi do it they know nothing about aircon, use an aircon specialist.
As you rightly say the Kwik fit monkeys are barely capable of fitting wheels let alone anything more complicated. They're certainly Kwik at over pressurising your aircon system but not so kwik to replace the expensive parts they've just ruined.

    what he said ^^

What i will say is u can easily buy the air con refreshener stuff from halfords, its a doddle to do it urself, just open the can up and leave ur aircon on recirculate and full blast for ten mins. Does it all itself. Also, you can buy the can to regas the aircon and do it urself for ~£50 from halfords too. Depends how confident u are with doing it tho

Aircon regas is not merely a case of pumping more Freon into the system. The old stuff has to be drained first, and those DIY aerosols are just money down the drain. Get it done properly otherwise you could be facing a big bill.
