Air Con Air Freshener

Hi, just ordered an air con air freshener bomb thing off tinter-webs.
It says the put the air con on full and on recirculate. Does it matter where i position the bomb when i use it?

The Auto Glym ones I use say set the controls to blow to the feet, on recirculate, coldest setting, max fan speed, and put it in the rear footwell. Pull the trigger and run!! Although I think some say use all vents as will clear any bacteria in them too.

From inside the car... Its actual location I don't know, would imagine under the passenger side dash probably.
