Air Bag Warning Light

    Because ive fitted TT seats to my A3 ive had to fit resistors to the loom of the airbags for the seats as they are not compatible with A3's.

    I did the passenger side first and the yellow 'passenger airbag off' light went out. But i did the drivers side and the red dash light is still on.

    Will i need to get the error code cleared before this disappears.

    Ive checked all the wiring and it seems good and solid.

    Once the airbag light comes on, it stays on till cleared by a diagnostic machine (or perhaps disconnecting battery for 30 mins).

    you will need the warning lamp reseting. there are plenty of fault code readers on ebay for about £20 which will do the job

    Cheers for the advice guys, ill get the guy to clear the code when he fits my cruise control.
