Air bag control unit

Can someone please tell me how much and how easy it is to replace a faulty air bag control box thingy.. Main dealer have quoted almost £800 for this...

well what kid of car do you have??

with most of them the control unit is expensive but also the labor is very expensive for most of them that I can think of you have to kind tear the dash appart to get it out

let me know what you have

The car is an 1999 T plate 1.8 SE 4 door.
