Pretty much giving up on my oe Bluetooth install
Whats everyones opinion on these or stick with original ..
Been looking at Pioneer FHX700BT Double Din Bluetooth Car Stereo | FHX700BT | From BMF AUTO PARTS Any Part for Any Car
Realize i need an adapter. How do i know whether i have half amped etc.
Have a double din concert at the mo

What problems are you having?

It could be seen when first connected, by my phone then would disappear on next start of car.
Cant be seen on VCDS . found out after that my friend of a friends vcds is non official so could be related to that .
I have another thread somewhere with the links to the bluetooth plug and play cable i bought.
How Much would it be to setup NHN

So VCDS is giving a communication error on the module? That sounds like a dead or dying module although I think thats a rare thing.

Did you try another phone? Is the coding for the module correct?

Balls. i may have got a bad module then. took me ages to get round to try and fit as got it just before my daughter was born. Tried my wifes phones. thought great. next day it wouldnt see it again .
have not been able to connect to module to check coding
I have a Audi Genuine Bluetooth Module - 8P0 862 335 S

I could be wrong but if you can't connect to the module it could be a cause. Is the wiring correct?

I think the wiring is correct. But cant be sure. Is there anyone local to Blandford do you know with VCDS. there isnt anyone on the forum list. I may buy it myself. any mods know if there are many members near me to make it wort my while getting the VCDS

Did you mangae to find anyone in dorset with VCDs?
