clutch is due an upgrade/replacement, whilst it is out I was thinking about an upgraded/lightened flywheel.
Probably a dropin aftermarket number rather than have the original lightened.
Anyone got, used or driven a car with Aluminium units like Fidanza?

Also i am dropping in a bigger turbo and hope to be running 300+ in the near future, not a drag strip racer but want to get a decent useable clutch.

What clutches have you got and what is good?

I bought this kit from ATP in the States... not installed it yet but it's a good price I think considering comparable cost in this country...

    $1000 seems a lot.

Have you read anything about waping in the friction plate on some of these alu flywheels

Nothing to date... maybe someone else has an opinion..?

There was another thread recently about uprated aftermarket flywheels/clutches... in this forum I think.

    Have a look /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not sure how much you can get an aluminium flywheel, uprated clutch/pressure plate for but under £600 seems a pretty good price to me...
