Hi all, I purchased a new cab back in 2007 with the satnav (colour option) not sure what they called it, with Bose upgraded speakers but stupidly never got bluetooth. I am keen to put something in which allows me to play music from my iphone, but not too bother about using the phone. The car came with the CD box, which I never use... it seemed to be standard if I didn't request Bluetooh. Has anyone done anything similar or have an ideas/recommendations? Thanks for any help in advance.

Welcome to the site.

Depends what you're ultimately after tbh.

Did you need artist, album & track info?

thanks.... not too bothere but yes would be nice. It really depends of complexity to fit. if its fairly easy to fit then yes would like this, if it means added a whole bunch of wiring, taking the dash apart etc then can live without.

sorry, am pretty open... I guess upto 170 pounds if that would cover it? ... but slightly more if needed

When you say the car has satnav I'm assuming you mean its got an RNS-E Audi navigation plus unit in it. If you only wanting to use Bluetooth for music then why don't you just copy all the music onto an sd card and plug the sd card into the RNS-E?

basically because I cant be bothered to keep changing my mp4s to mp3s and the iphone is easy with my playlists.

For that cost, you'll be looking at a Dension unit tbh, at best you'll get some info in the dis, but not on the rns screen.
