Hey peeps

I have attached a picture of AFR desired vs current, just want to know if there is anything else to check before replacing the wideband probe. I get the dreaded error of B1 S1 Malfunction in circuit at random times and rosstech has one answer, replace probe. When doing this log MY ESP light was flashing just as I entered 3rd gear (under 2300rpm) and it was like a throttle cut, had to close the throttle twice and then WOT, only then did my RPM increase and could proceed to log. Maf G/S increases and seems correct for what Im running.

I would presume block 001 is functioning on lambda adjust? or does it drop to zero at this moment it see's malfunction in circuit?
OR
Fuel pressure is dropping, and 001 block would be climbing +ve trying to hold requested fueling. to its max of 26%

fuel pressure check to confirm if its fuel pressure which is dropping off under boost.. It should be 3bar +boost fuel pressure.

throttle cut is something else occuring as well...

I havent checked block 001 as yet but after the log going into block 32 the part adaption is at 0% which is wasnt when it was meeting target last week, became intermittent and now constant... Would I spot anything block 001 related in my Log produced with ME 7 logger?

I have been asking a few of my mates if they have a fuel pressure gauge for me to test with but no luck, will look into purchasing one today then.

Edit: Would a dirty fuel filter perhaps cause this?

if 001 goes've positive a lot its trying to get to the tgt fuel... so if it cant you will need to physically check pressure
if lambda adaption on 001 stays at zero its not working

Lets go log and see :D

Did a log this morning quick, it seems when the "throttle cut" in low rpm occurs the lambda value hits 0 as if its not responding, this is when my ESP light flashes aswell. However it is responding in higher RPM but not sure if the values are correct. I have checked the wiring on both plugs and they are still in good condition. Would you suspect the probe to be faulty? Log was block 001

its wanting to add 20% more fuel from 5krpm
logging 001 and 031 and 118 will show fueling, in relation to boost

Just a thread update, I did a fuel pressure test today and under load (1 bar boost and up) the fuel pump cant deliver, it peaks at 3.8 bar but no more. Will be replacing soon, car is standing again :D
