AEB engine weight?

Anybody know the approximate weight of an AEB engine?

not sure, but i lifted one in and out with the crane on the least weight handling setting of 500kg or what ever it was and had no probs. Also was able to push the pallet around that had it on on my own so at a guess a 200 to 300 kg. I assume you mean complete for lifting

vauxhall 2.0 16v was 150kg all in when i had one on the scales last year

I recon with the turbo etc on the AEB your talking about 175kg for the engine itself max plus maybe another 40ish for the gearbox

Cheers.. I can get a Sealey engine support that'll lift 300KG MAX with a free engine stand for a good price. Be a useful bit of kit to keep too. Think I'll buy it..

well under 300kg anyway.
would put it around the 200 mark.
