Hi there guys, Ok I've been thinking about something. Now I need to know one thing, can the two red circles below be drilled? and tailpipes welded to them by an exhaust specialist?

dont think it stretches far enough over does it?

dont think it would work anyway I think there are internal pipes. Maybe better to get powerflow to make a custom one or something.

lol, already got a powerflow. What exactly do u mean by you don't think it streches enough? and are there internal pipes? I thought it was a big empty box :nyah:

Lol. Mate, if you've got a Powerflow why do you want a modified Milltek?

Wouldn't it be better to get a custom system to match the holes in your bumpber?

Milltek already did a quad pipe exhaust I thought, wouldnt it be easier to just buy that to start with?

I believe that was the exhaust fitted to the black S3 with lambo doors that appeared in a couple of threads a long while ago

I didnt think the box would stretch far enough over to have the holes coming out symetrical.

LOL. Chris, you always seem to be on the ball, or u just have a good memory. The reason for change is down to noise preference. The Powerflow started off really well, the noise was bearable and it sounded real nice. But now after nearly a year of driving it the drone noise when decelerating with gears is just too silly, and in all honesty I hate it. I keep having to shift up to really high gears to stop the drone noise from coming up. When accelerating it sounds fine, if not quieter but I like the purr of the Milltek exhausts, they just sound "right" imo.

Also, I'd like to change more than just the back box, I'd like to follow on to the whole system up to the D/P and I'd prefer if it was all Milltek
Milltek. By the way Chris, did you have to change your D/P when upgrading turbos? or would the milltek or MIJ D/P work fine with an eliminator kit?

Yes Milltek have already produced a quad pipe exhaust, Unfortunatly they have stoped doing so, which is why I went for the Powerflow (I wanted to have new exhausts and the 4 tailpipes, which still look great imo) but anyway, here's the pic of the milltek quad pipes, which is similar to what I want to achieve:

Still running the standard downpipe. Didn't see any reason to change. That's running into 200cell Milltek cats, into a Supersprint center section and back box. Seems to run well, and I'm liking all the pops and bangs between gear changes - proper rally car sounds if you're toe-n-heeling it into a bend.:eyebrows:
