advice needed(cam lever) v6 tdi 180

found one of my cam levers in two bits in the sump a few days ago, going to attempt to replace it tomorrow along with crankcase breather while i have the fuel lines off.
anyone had the rocker covers off.
can you get at the cam levers(roller rocker arms)

You need to remove the camshafts to be able to replace rocker fingers...Not a job for faint harted ! How far away are you from N. London ?

thats a ****** disaster, only did the cambelt two months ago
i`m in cork so a long way from north london. thanks for the info. would i do damage if i drove it.

No dammage will be done but the car will be underpowered and wont run right.

thanks for that, took the rocker covers off yesterday and all the levers are in place, cams look good too. must have happened before i bought the car and was repaired. so good news there. btw the crank breather was a right pain to replace. took about 3 hours and alot had to come out to get at it. the joys of a v6
