I've got a 2004 A3. Does anyone know how to activate the anti-hi jacking locks (locks at a certain speed) other than going to the dealers?

    [Select]
    [35 - Cent. Locks]
    [Recode - 07]
Add 32 to the current value to autolock doors above 15mph
    [Do It!]

    Other central locking codes:

    +4 One touch unlock
    +32 Autolock doors above 15mph
    +64 Window Up/Down with remote
+1024 Honk horn on alarm arm

The module for doing this may be under [46 - Central Conv.] for newer cars.

Does it give a little honk when you lock the car with the remote cos this would be good cos I've left the car unlocked a few times when I thought I locked it. A audable signal would be good

Will these codes work on a 2002 A3 1.8T?? I'd like the idea of the windows going up on alarm activation...

Also how are the codes entered? VAG-COM?

The windows won't go up on their own mind you. You have to hold down the lock button on the remote or hold the key in the lock position until they go up.

Generally I find that these are normally setup anyway.
