I was sitting stationary the other day with the car running waiting on my wife coming out of the shop, As you do, I was sitting playing with all the buttons to see if I could find anything new and when I pushed the AC buton to swith it off the car cut out as it does with stop/start. If I switch stop/start off it doesn't happen.

Any ideas why this happens? and if its normal?

Cheers :)

Stop start only works when requirements are met, when the ac is on if the car isnt at set temp then the stop start wont kick in so the ac can carry on cooling. Sometime when im sat in traffic with engine off it will kick in on its own to cool inside down, s**ts me up sometimes. Because you turned ac off the engine isnt needed to help ac so stop start kicks in.
hope this answers your question

I had this as well. When I set it to 18 degrees the start/stop didn't work. However above that it worked fine.
