After starting the car the other day, the ABS and ESP warning lights stayed on. Shortly afterwards the brake pad warning came on. I know the ESP light is on because of the ABS warning and I know the pads need replacing but is the ABS problem likely to be related to the pads - i.e. will it go away when I replace the pads? Will I need VAG-COM to reset the warning or, if it is related to the pads, will it reset itself?

Where are the ABS sensors located? I just had a wheel bearing replaced, could the problem be related to this?
