ABS Warning Light??

Hi Guys,
Just had my bumper off on the S3 for a play around with the washer bottle that seemed to be losing fluid but doesn't seem to be anymore, typical lol.
Anyway had to move the small black plastic box (next to washer bottle) that has pipes & electric connectors on it, looks like a filter inside what does this do?? Also removed both the wheel arch trims.
The car has been off road for last 6months just getting ready to tax & MOT when I've now noticed the ABS warning light is staying on. Took it round the block in the damp but couldn't get it to skid so not sure where the fault is, any ideas?? Could I have disturbed something near washer bottle???

Any pics of what you removed?
How many pipes/wires did it have going to it?

the thing next to the washer bottle is the charcoal cannister its the weird thing that makes a loud ticking noise and some people remove entirely.

There are some sensors in the wheel arch which relate to ABS so you may pof nudged one of those removing the liner
