Guys,

Turned the car on tonight and got an ABS and Traction Control warning light on the dash.

Tested the ABS and its not working. Wheels locked up.

Any ideas whats went wrong, sensor/pump/module?

Cheers Gents!

Have you checked the ABS pump fuse?

Of course, if that has gone, it's probably blown for a reason.

Other than that, best initial course of action would be to get the car scanned with VCDS/VAG-COM?

Where in the world are you?

That's a good point re the brake pedal switch.

Mine went on my A3, and abs/tc lights came on.

My brake lights weren't working, but my ABS still was.

I don't think the ABS pump depends on the brake light switch to work, but it's worth checking obviously.

Lights all off this morning guys. Couldnt get a chance to check the ABS with the morning traffic so will report back later.

Strange!
