I have installed cruise control today, fitted a new SCSM and the stalk.

Everything seemed to go well mechanically but coding it in is an issue.

I cannot reset the abs module. At the moment the values for the code and workshop bit is just zeros. I logged in using the code 09575 (i assume this is right as i didnt get booted out) and tried to recode using my previous settings. I bang save and when it updates the coding is still at 00000.

This is hte steps I have been following

Its worth noting that my 26 step five says -2.5degrees all the time no matter if the steering wheel is moved or not.. is this normal?

Also, my automatic window up from they key feature has vanished since the install.. ??

Also this was the orginal coding of my ABS

    Address 03: ABS Brakes
    Protocol: KW1281
    Controller: 8E0 614 517 A
    Component: ABS/ESP allrad 4529
    Coding: 04475
    Shop #: WSC 06435

    I have done the following

I got a code accepted message, i did not get any message when i entered a login code for the abs module

That thread i have had a look through, one guy had the same problem but there was no solution or followup to it. It just sticks at coding 00000 and im not sure if the steering angle in the meas block is supposed to change with movement of the wheel or its fine at -2.5?

    Fault codes are -
    Control Module Part Number: 8E0 614 517 A
    Component and/or Version: ABS/ESP allrad 4529
    Software Coding: 00000
    Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
    2 Faults Found:
01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded
    35-00 - -
    00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
    66-10 - Not Matched - Intermittent

Recalibrating doesnt change anything... is it possible my steering angle sensor is busted? Would that make it so i cant even code in the abs module?

Check the install of the swcm & sensor as the connecting pins have been bent by these installs before & this maybe your problem.
