Hi all I'm thinking of buying a 1996 3.7 a8 that has a misfire. The current owner says he's changed the coil packs and spark plugs and the timing chain tensioners were new a year ago and have been checked, he will sell it with a replacement ecu that needs coding, is it worth a gamble or does anyone know what else could cause the misfire any help much appreciated cheers
