a6 sport quattro - new seat search

Anyone able to offer any advice on sourcing a new driver's seat, with better support and more depth, for my 2004 A6 Tdi Sport Quattro Avant? My legs are too long! Used to have a great seat in my 1996 S6 Avant.....

Hi there,
I had exactly the same problem and I ended up fitting S8 seats into the car, probably the best seats I've ever had.

Car's now sold and the seats went seperately. However there are several options for you:

1) Find some S6 Recaro's - Expensive though
2) Purchase New Recaro's direct from Recaro they do several styles which will fit the required adaptors for the A6
(which by the way I've still got somewhere in the garage and could probably agree a price if you where interested)

Sorry for the delay, but many thanks for your ideas!
Can you recall what year S8 you got the seat from?
Will check out Recaro website and see what is available. Meanwhile, have you still got runners ('universal' I think they may be called?
