a6 sline engine mounts

Hi all

Am I right in thinking that the engine mounts are full of oil ???

One of mine is leaking some sort of fluid and I've got a code stored

When the leak would you get a lot of engine noise resonate through the chassis making it sound like a nackered wheel bearing sort of noise ???

Yes they are full of oil, don't remember any noise when mine failed. Was an easy enough job to replace.

Yea I thought they were it's strange coz checked all wheel bearings and prop bearing and there fine
