A6 offset with C5 wide body

Hi all, does anyone know if offset of 20 & 25 will work/fit on a 2001 A6 wide body? I found some 19"x8.5 Savani rims on craigslist that was off a A8. The stocks are 17" with 35 offset. The down side is , it doesn't come with tires so I can't test fit. I just got this A6 about 3 months ago. Thanx.

I don't know if this helps, I put 20 mm spacers on my 19x8.5 wheels, they fill the arch and look much better in my opinion, I would say there out as far as is possible without being illegal

If memory serves correctly, an RS6 has 8.5J wheels with an offset of 28/30
