A6 ODB 2 Cable

Hi,

I have been having problems with my ABS and brakes lights coming on and have checked all the obvious (pads, oil, sensors etc) but with no success. Following reading a few threads on this website I noticed you can get OSB2 cables to try and self diagnose probs like this.

be suitable for my A6 V6 2.8 quattro and if so where abouts is the connectio0n on the car as I cant find it!

this will work.

Get one of these working first then buy the genuine software from ross-tech at $99

thats what Ive got and it works great

The connection is under the cubby on the right hand side of the dash. look next to the bonnet release under the dash above the pedals. its not in the cubbys. If not there look under the inserts in the centre console where the handbrake is.
