    Hi all,

I have a 2006 (55 plate) A6 Avant running 2120 software on the MMI and I am trying to get this updated to add any new/extra functions like 3d mapping etc.

My local Audi dealer won't help me. They just keep saying 'there are no updates available for your car' and 'don't believe the forums'.

I asked them to upgrade the MMI to 3460 but they just kept saying no.

Is their anyone out there that can help? or knows a private dealer that can perform any upgrades?

thanks in advance and sorry if this has been asked before (i did search first)

    regards,

    Alex

    Alex,
I think you should go to Audi and stomp your feet until they do the upgrade or put your hand in your pocket and pay for it ya stingy sod.

I tried downloading the 3460 update torrent but when I tried the upgrade, I got an error 'could not find metainfo.txt'. This file was not on the disc.

Is there somewhere that you know where I can download the full disc?
I also read that if you upgrade the unit yourself, other things could stop working and a dealer would have to reset them.

    thanks

Would you be so kind in giving me a bit more info as to where I can purchase the disk from?

    thanks.
