A6 Allroad DVD

A good friend of mine has just bought a 2006 06 A6 Allroad.
It has DVD based Satnav fitted, can you play DVD's on this?

Also the TV prep, do you need to fit an additional part for the TV to work?
Does it work at all speeds? if not can you adjust it to work at all speeds..

The dvd drive wont play dvd's only cd's.
For tv prep you would need antennas, tuner unit and a fair bit of money, its not a cheap upgrade. It can be made to work whilst in motion by having a vim unlock done on the rnse unit.

The tv units are only analogue, so another option is an aftemarket digital version. again wont be cheap.

Best bet if you are serious is to pm s8craig or tdiavant, dependant upon where you are based.
