A5 TDI update already?

Does anybody know if the new update to the 3.0 TDI engine (550nm) is going to appear in the new A5 ? Recent blogs state the 550nm version is due for the Q7 and new A4. Has Audi made a blunder in not rating this engine in the A5 at 550nm from the start- do they upset existing A5 owners and update the engine already - or offer a more powerfull 550nm version in the cheaper A4 ?

Yes, they usually do upset existing customers, they are constantly improving engines, facelifting cars etc. I think the original 3.00 tdi started at around 220 bhp, and has crept up over the last few.
