A5 Automatic braking adaptive cruise control - what year?

Hi there

I'm after an A5, going to look at two tomorrow

What year was the auto braking and adaptive cruise control brought in?

And is it standard or an optional extra

Is there any way of telling if it's it's fitted?

Been out of the scene a while since my a3, returning after smashing my E92 bmw

No idea on year, but there are 2 ways to tell whether ACC is fitted. First is there will be a dome shaped "light" in the same grille area as the fog light on the left hand side as you look at the front of the car. This car has it fitted:

secondly, the cruise control stalk is different. It has a distance rocker on top of the cruise control stick. See 16 seconds into this video:

B8 had ACC, B8.5 had ACC with braking guard.

It's an Audi, of course it's not standard...!
