My '99 A4 tdi 110 red eye won't start. I have just dryed out the inside of the car as the bulkhead drain had bloked & flooded the car. I removed the ecu to dry off the moisture, on reinstalling the the ecu the car was at first reluctant to start, then started & ran (stationary) for about 1/2 an hour & then stopped. then it would turn over & fire with the starter motor running but stopped when the ignition key was released, this happen a couple of times now the engine spins but will not fire. I've noticed that when turning the engine over the immobiliser icon repeatedly flashes. there have been no other faults before this other that the battery discharging due to lack of use. What have I ******** this time? your advice & views would be appreciated. Cheers.
