can anyone tell me the sizes of the speakers in my A4 ? (2000 x reg)
the factory system does'nt sound bad at all, but i have some tasty speakers ive collected over the years from other cars ive owned... jbl's, kappa infinity...6x9's & 4"
id like to try them in the car, but i would'nt want to remove the door cards only to find they wont fit..
lazy i know, but door cards can be fiddley.
incidently, does anyone know the make of the audi speakers that are fitted ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile_smoking.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile_smoking.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile_smoking.gif

Nokia, yes Nokia, taken from one of their early Polyphonic phones.
Front doors are 4" mids and 1" tweets.
    Rear deck are 6.5" coax.
You'll also need fitting adapters as the Audi fitting is a bizarre 3 point arrangement, you can make your own or buy them from the usual places (www.caraudiodirect.co.uk etc)

Sorry to butt in guys. Is there any possibility of fitting larger speakers up front or is there simply not room etc?

You can fit 5.25" front speakers with the right adapter, but you need to watch the depth
