My A4 1.8T has reached 106,000 miles and the service light has come on. The car isn't feeling quite as smooth as it did when accelerating, and the gears feel quite stiff when changing when the car is cold, ok when warmed up though.
As the service light is on and I'd like peace of mind for future driving, I would like to look at getting the cam belt changed, and was wondering If there were any other belts/parts that should be removed and replaced at the same time? ie any pumps, fluids or other belts?
Also Is it a matter of removing the front for all this work? and where would you recommend buying the appropriate replacement parts/fluids etc..
