A4 Saloon - Rear Window Tints

I've booked my car in to have the rear windows, quarter lights and screen tinted in a couple of weeks time.

I want to keep the tint to a 'factory' finish i.e. Not totally black / gangster.

Does anyone know what percentage the factory tint is? I have a choice between 35% and 20%

Doesnt the place doing the tinting know? If not, I'm not sure I'd be keen to use them ;-)

If you want a factory style tint then you will need to go with 35%.

The supplier had suggested 20%, but I wanted to be certain before I took the jump

35 would be more like OEM, that's what I went for, sometimes I wish I'd gone darker though

Had this done today. Went with the 20% in the end. Looks good, really pleased with it. Pics to follow

20% is factory is what my supplier said and what I went for. Anything else would have been too light for me so glad i went with that.
