Hi there folks :)

On the rear lights of the A4 (b5 saloon) do you have 2 lots of lights?

ie the square ones in the middle of the cluster and is there supposed to be on the outer edge?

I have just bought myself an A4 and had to change the brake light bulbs as there were no brake lights. One bulb had a single filament and the other one had the dual filament but the outer lights only show up when you brake. So I was wondering if the the square ones were the only bake lights and the dual filament bulbs are supposed to be single filament brake light bulbs.

Hope this isn't confusing, becasue it certainly sounds it to me! :( lol

Thanks

The dual element bulbs are stop and tail lights.

From the bottom up.
Stop and tail lights, reversing, indicators and its fog lights.

That's what i thought they should be but they only show brake lights when brake is pressed and the only lights that come on when you turn on the lights is the square ones in the middle :(

Here's a pic:

The dark blue circle is the rear light that works when lights are turned on.

The pale blue circle is the double filament light but only the brake light works and not the tail light when lights are on.

Is this right? And what could be problem if not right and how to fix it?

Thanks peeps :icon_thumright:
