I own a 1997 A4 2.8 Quattro 12v with about 70,000 miles, bought it used at around 40,000 miles. Apparently the previous owner was not kind with the clutch and I'm now facing replacement. I have heard rumors that this model has the dreaded dual mass flywheel, but for some reason can find no documentation anywhere to confirm that. If in fact is DOES have a dual mass flywheel, I'd be interested in finding out if there are conversion kits for this specific model that allow me to convert it to a standard flywheel. Does anyone:
1) know what type of flywheel is in this model?
2) aware of any conversion kits?
