Hey I have a few questions the first being, are there any 2.4L or 2.5L stroker kits for a 1.8t, if not whats the most possible?? Also who makes short and long blocks for audi's and VW's?? Finaly are there any turbo kits for a a4 v6, if not is it possible to swap in the VR6 golf V6 motor into a A4 (1.8L and the V6 model)??? Sorry for all the questions but I didnt want to take up room on the forum by making new threads.

There are stroker kits for the 1.8T but I think its only to 2.0-2.1 max.

There are no Turbo kits for the V6 only a Supercharger kit. Has for fitting the VR6 lump in one you would be wasting your time as most VW tuners are ripping out the old VR6 lump and putting in the 1.8T.

    why would you replace an A4 V6 (193bhp) for a VR6 lump (174bhp)?
    am I missing something?

The VR6 has more tuning options but there is a limit where as the 1.8T can be tuned if you want to, to 400hp with all the mod cons.

I have both the 1.8T and the 2.8 with Supercharger and i'm selling the 2.8 as the 1.8T as more to offer in the way of tuning.

maybe r32 lump similar to the vr6 kicks out healthy 600hp on some twin turbo setups

isn't the a4 v6 longitudinal in the later cars anyway? golf engines transverse

as said above 1.8t's are producing 350 on stock internals which ain't too bad

Now if I could get my hands on a R32 or just the 3.2, which will be fitted, to the new A4's then slam on a SC or turbo you will have one rapid car.

  10. i didnt think the golf engines could be fitted too the a4 as they are the wrong way round.

Awesome, thanks. BTW Ive seen more on the 1.8L then 350 I was just wondering because the bigger displacement would be nicer to spin a bigger turbo and have more Tq.

i was surfing the net yesterday, and found 3.2 i think the site was similar name to autosupermarket would of saved the link but wasn't my computer they were in the usa and the base 3.2 seemed quite reasonable in price and was available in 2 compressions 10:1 and 8.5:1 JE pistons good for your turbo/super. possibly fit the a4

the current a6 has a 3.2 version which should fit as it is also longitudinal.
