    Hi all,

Newbie here, and for the moment at least... non-Audi owner

My local Audi dealership is selling a 2005 A4 DTM Edition, which I looked around yesterday and was very impressed with. Until that is... I asked about ISOFIX mountings which I assumed would have been standard.

Unfortunately, the car did not have them and I guessed it was Game Over. However, after some online research I seemed to find some other adverts that suggested other DTM cars DID have ISOFIX.

Was this a cost option when the car was new?

Is there ANY way that I can have ISOFIX mountings retro-fitted to the car?

Many thanks in advance, and fingers crossed!

    Welcome to the forum :)

I'm not sure when they became standard, but it is a very easy retrofit - see my guide HERE. Drop a Pm to pjmspeedy for competitive parts prices ;)

I think my july 2005 car has them.... but either way they arent a hard retro fit if they arent there (but im sure they would have been standard fit?!) just make sure you torque the bolts up correctly and only have the sleaves fitted when the seats are in as they will deform the seat foam other wise.

Does the DTM have recaros like the S4 - some child seats do not sit will on the recaros with ISO fix - this is why they were not an option on the S4 - because of the bucket shape comapred to the flatter base, the seats don't rest properly.
