yeah they look as close as ,but being smaller they look different
im not knocking your job at all
i would have put them at the start of the rub strip as well not at the edge of the door more like the original quattro ones were placed .

ps. they should definately fade out to the rear as per oem.

So thats as per the top pic in my post then? Lol I am glad you lot are as confused as me all giving me different answers! The difference in the UR pic you posted is those rings are dark coloured, whereas mine are silver.

I do indeed matey, maybe you haven't read too much on the B6 forum, I mention how it needs it in virtually every thread I post! I spent well over £4.5k on my engine when the timing belt skipped in Feb so I am a bit limited in what I can spend right now :3sadwalk:

Trust me it's top of my priorities but isn't going to be for a while.

I wasn't being mean or anything, I was trying to be funny hence the Lol

Sorry if I caused offence, and I have read about your engine woes and I'm glad it going well for you at the moment.

I still prefer Fade first but if you after OEM then its the opposite you need to be going!!

Good point about the rings starting in line with the Door moulding too me thinks.

..and yeah defo go for the S4 grill mod mate, Looks so much beefier front. Still close to your OEM because its not like your fitting a ABT grill eh!Then when you do get the S4 bumper, Jobs a good-un.

Oh and james, Got to get rid of that Massive Tax wallet, lol...ebay for a fiver will get you a a nice subtle ally Disc holder:icon_thumright:

Yeah I agree about the door moulding, it's funny how looking back from a distance highlights these things :banghead:

Lol I don't need any help spending money you know ;)

Fair point, I will get onto it - can you recommend any good quality ones? My work car pass is a PITA too :whip:

haha! soz mate... I went for one of these : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/tax-disc-holder-fits-AUDI-80-90-100-200-a2-a3-a4-a6-i_W0QQitemZ220427258138QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item33527d091a&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A4|65%3A10|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A200

Lets your passengers see out the front screen easier ;)

Thats why I asked for a distant shot, you get to see as a whole dont you.
right then, so how about one of these too james : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STAINLESS-STEEL-Chrome-Car-Number-Plate-Surround-Holder_W0QQitemZ260420625904QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3ca24765f0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A4|65%3A10|39%3A1|240%3A1308|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A200

Yeah This tax disc holder I found earlier and is on watch, quite like This one too, but it's more expensive.

I wondered a bit what you were on about with the number plate surrounds, till I read on :lmfao:

Jojo tells you how in This thread.

But I find it easier to just do this:

    {url=www.websiteaddress.co.uk}YOUR COMMENT{/url}

But replace { and } with [ and ] and it will work a treat ;)

I have used magnetic tax disc holders on many cars in the past and they do not last. When I bought the A4 I got the richbrook aluminium holder as in your second link and its still as good as new even though i'm on my second windscreen and third tax disc. IMHO deffinately worth the extra £££'s so far. Looks great with the roof bars and mirrors aswell. :kissmyrings:

Ill take some pics tomorrow in the daylight for ya.

Told ya James - Get it done!!!! (well, when they become available for less than about £170 for the pair, lol) I've did see some S4 fog grills on Ebay a while ago, now I think about it. I'm sure these could be made to fit the standard bumper too.

Cheers Coyote! - Don't you just love summertime insects ......

I am just deciding whether to go for the alloy one, or look for a black Richbrook one if they exist.

I used to have one like that, I got the brushed look richbrook one but on hot summer days the sticky pads weren't up to the job... If you threw yourself into a corner you'd end up with a reasonably heavy piece of metal flying across your dash!!
