Hi all,

i have an a4 cabrio b6. It's retro fitted with an RNS-e.
It's non Bose, and I want to wire in 2 amps, and fit sub.

the RNS-e is currently powering all my speakers, 2 front, 2 rear and the 3 in dash.
I assume the vehicle must have an amp somewhere as the rnse won't power all these alone.

anyone know where this non Bose amp is in my cabrio?
and would it have a "12v remote" so I can switch my new amps on and off.??

any diagrams of OEM stero setup on a cabrio appreciated.

hi yer mate I have an 07 a4 cab the amp is in the boot not sure which side but it should be near the roof motor if that gives any help and yes in the loom there will be switch on wire ( just read a post of a guy who has a faulty roof motor and the amp sits just by the motor nice pics as well hope this helps

The amp is in the boot, behind the right hand side panel trim as you look into the boot, just in that rear quarter.

This is the same for the Bose and regular fitment.

Hi yer B7 I removed my bose amp from my car ( 8H0 035 223 C ) type that part number into partsbase.org and this will give you picture wise some help I wouldn't bother with an audi amp there are cheap Chinese rubbish have a look at massive audio nx4 very compact size and fits in perfectly in that space if your intrested I have one I want to sell hope this helps
