Im trying to help a mate fault find on his sound system in his 55 plate A4 B7 S-Line Special Edition.
He's fitted an aftermarket h.u, amp and sub using a couple of harness adaptors including canbus. All is working fine bar the OEM rear speakers and sub. From previous knowledge and from what I've read there is a small amplifier that powers them mounted either in the boot parcel tray or on one side of the boot.
If anyone can tell me the location to save us dismantling the boot trim would be a big help!
Once I get my hands on it I can test for continuity from the white cable on the OEM harness at the rear of the h.u. to the amp which I suspect is the remote wire / amp on, and connect to the remote live output from the aftermarket h.u. which will hopefully solve the problem or at least give us a starting point.
Any help or advice would be welcome!
