A4 B6 HEADUNIT--??

    Hi,im fitting an aftermarket headunit to my car,well dvd 7'' screen,before i actually go ahead fitting it,i decided to see how it would look ......ive took the original chorus headunit out,put new (aftermarket) one in..theres a big gap left,obviously the chorus headunit is a lot wider,what do i do now?what have you guys done/used after fitting aftermarket headunits?

    there are several trim panels available to finish the dash how you wish
    some are double din some are single it all depends on what you have fitted and the desired finish
    any good car audio shop should have them in stock or at least be able to order them for you

    For single DIN I just used the Maystar surround from caraudio direct:

    Matches and fits very well.

    You'll also need a rear amp RCA input adapter and an antenna amp adapter. There is no switched live on the loom either so you'll either need to wire one in, or couple the ignition live to the perm live and switch the HU on/off manually.
