A4 B6 Avant Both Front Doors Knock On The U Catch ( Can They Be Adjusted )

Hi,

Could some advise me if they can be adjusted so they lift up a few mm or I need to buy a new top and lower hinges?

Dont know if adjusting just helps for a moment.. Could be wear inside the hinges. But there is an adjustment screw on the top hinge I Think..
But how it works I dont know..
My drivers door needs just a little harder push than the other three doors..
So maybe my door also could need an adjustment..

look at the catch carefully .... it should have a little cross design on it which allows it to be moved in every direction a small amount

undo the two allen bolts then move the catch a couple of mm and re-tighten then try the door
should help things a little

If the catch is moved and the hinges are worn then won't the door just sit wrong when closed ??
