Hey guys, well my drivers seat in my 99.5 a4 2.8 finally had the usual seam rip. Now my question is my friend has another 2.8 v6 and has a mint seat. Can I just undo bolts and plug and play wiring? And I already checked his seat and motors and everything work. And will seat automatically work as soon as I plug it in? Thanks

I'm pretty sure his car is a 2000 a4 2.8 does the year make a difference?

And I won't have any issues with power seat functions? I did a power seat swap in Volvo awhile ago and the motors didn't work so This is a direct plug and play?

if they both have power seats then all should be good
    airbag light may come on.

Ok great I'll ateempt it and report back! Is there certain years that work and some that don't? I think it's a 2000 seat, and I was looking at 97-98 power seats as well are the electrical plugs the same underneath? Sry for all the questions!

Ok so,here's an interesting situation, I put seat in and 2 of the three connectors worked. However the yellow airbag connector one is different from the other seat it looks to have a couple metal prongs instead of 4-5. Any idea
If I can change the connector over and put metal prongs in? I hate that stupid airbag light.

Cut the plug off and just use crimped bullet terminals instead.
