    Hi all,
time for a little upgrade as Autumn draws ever closer...

I want to get new-look / flat wipers on the Avant but with the new wiper arms too rather than a conversion kit for the '98 wiper arms -
    is this possible?
if so - what year / model Audi would I need the bits from?

    thanks in advance,
    P)

I'm running Passat B5.5 aero wiper arms and blades.

    Direct fit. No problem.

B5.5 Passat arms work and allow you to fit the OEM aero blades. Have a search though, as i think you might need a different (ie non-passat) blade for one side

You don't need to change the blades. This is the second A4 I've run them on without having to change anything.

Fair enough, but I've got them on my car right now and they fit/work/look fine.

But, you do have to make sure that you get the correct arm on the right side, matched up with the correct blade (same length, but different mounting points on the blades), otherwise they will cross over each other.

I think you'll need to search for an '02 Passat onwards. Model is B5.5
