A4 18t sport couple of probs

Hi all first of all iv got a4 turbo multitronic
first prob is when driving along at about 60 mph and just below 2000 revs seems like car wants to change up but doesnt rev counter blips up and then drops back to normal.
2nd
Car heats up to 90 no prob but heater will heat for little while then goes lukewarm then heats again
any ideas on either

2nd prob
car heats up to 90 on temp gauge but takes a while for heat to come through then every know and then it goes cool and then heats again and if you stop it cools again any ideas pls

Welcome to the forum, I've merged your threads together to save starting a new one each time.

There are lots of threads on 1.8T coolant issue's have a look at them. Have you had the car scanned for error codes at all?
