A4 1.8T just died last night...

Hi y'all,
120k miles on this sweet car. Driving home from work last night in the rain. After 1.5 miles it just quit. I coasted into a parking lot and there it sits. Battery is good, engine turns over but that's all. Any suggestions as to what might be the trouble?

So it turns over just fine, but wont start? Odd... Fuel pump maybe? blocked fuel line?

When u trun th ignition on, do you hear the fuel pump?

Should hear a bit of a whine for about a second...

Thanks for the quick response Rich. All I could hear was the driving rain. It's cleared up now so I will be heading out to take a look. I'll listen for the fuel pump.

No prob m8... I reckon it will be a fuelling problem... If the fuel pump is running, Then whip out the coil packs and check the plugs.
