What offset and width wheels do you guys run? (before they scrape) lol I've been told by a local garage to be very careful about offset!

On my sportback lowered 45mm on h&r springs i run 19" 8.5j wide audi speedline style rims offset 48 i think or 43 cant remember i have no rubbing issues with 5 people in the car also ive removed the arch screws on the rear

Tyres are 225/35/19

I can't tell you the offset on mine but I can tell you that getting 245x40x18s on 18x9 rims under the car is very difficult.

I have just fitted some A4 S line's which are 18" 8J ET43 + 215/35/18 and have no issues, I'm on standard height (8P1 3 Door) but I dont think 35/40mm would have any issues. Normally A3 does something between ET45-54 correct me if I'm wrong but of course depends on wheels width/ style and tyres and of course height.

Personally I would go for 7.5/8J ET45+ (And higher) 18/19".
