Hi, just bought my A3 last Saturday. Already had a small 'glitch'! I inserted my 3.5 inch adapter into the 12v cigarette lighter to re-charge my mobile phone, but blew the fuse :-( I took the car back to Cardiff Audi and they said the socket wasn't designed for that use? I have used my adapter in Mazda, VW, Peugeot and Mercedes and didn't have a problem. I asked them to increse the fuse from 20 to 25 amps but they said it was a 'potential firehazard'! Surely 5 amps shouldn't make a difference to the safety of the car? Please help...

    Welcome to ASN.

Make sure you give the car a good run at high revs at least once a week or you'll have trouble with your DPF just like I'm having atm ;)

    Any pics?
