It's an easy fix, even on the RS3. CeraTec, Copperslip (or better still Mintex self-adhesive anti-squeal shims (4.95 on eBay)) will sort it - as it did on the RS3 but then Audi went all silly and introduced an upgrade and changed the brake calipers, discs, pads, etc.; and even that didn't work for most, me included, so fitted Redstuff and that did it; and low brake dust too.
Try CeraTec or Copperslip first (apply to the brake-pad back-plate) as it's a 'dry' piston to brake-pad back-plate that's the problem.
