A3 Sportback Trip Computer Not Working After Cruise Control Installed

Hi guys

I have an a3 2.0tdi sportback and had car into audi to have cruise control fitted and it works fine but trip computer now dosent function. Any ideas?

Can you get other functions on the DIS by pressing the reset button on the underside of the right hand stalk?

Cant do anything with right stalk other than use wipers. Side buttons dont function same as reset. Ive tryed holding these buttons aswell as just pressing and get nothing

Go back to Audi as obviously they have broken it...

Back to Audi - sounds like they haven't put it back together correctly.

You'd think they'd check stuff like that before handing it back to the customer wouldn't you...

Sounds to me like audi haven't coded the steering module properly, it's sounds like they coded for cruise with no trip rather than cruise with trip.
Take it back and tell them to change the 2nd to last digit to a 4 then all should be good

I'm having the same problem on my A3 (06 plate) the cruise control came as factory fit. I realised today on the motorway that it doesn't want to engage, however, my brake light on the spoiler is out, could this be causing it?
