Hi new to the forum,I'm ordering a new A3 sportback 2.0T or TDI 170ps,in either toucan yellow or misano red,it will be in the S-line guise. The reason for the post is to see if anyone has the said car in Toucan yellow with some pics so i can see in the real world what it may look like.A big decision to make with very few toucan yellow cars kicking around to compare colours. Not everybodys choice of colour but I like a car that stands out.
    Hope someone can help.

I like cars in yellow, however IMO Toucan yellow is the wrong kind of yellow. If you're gonna go yellow go proper yellow or not at all. My old Boxster was Speed Yellow, a proper colour! :salute:

Go for the Toucan it is a cool colour.
Never regreted having mine and is so cool but not to in your face like other yellows . In my opinion anyway, but each to their own.

Geez, colour is so subjective but I'd also say if you like it go for it.

I reckon the only consideration is that being a less popular colour it may affect the amount of interest when you come to sell. Yellow and red can also be a bit cyclical. I once had BMW 325 (worst car I ever had) in red which was popular when I bought it but by the time I came to sell nobody but nobody wanted to know; almost hung up when I told them the colour. If it had been silver I probably could have got 2k more!

Being about to buy and being bored with Silver, Grey and Black I was thinking of Brill Red again or even White but have same problem I haven't seen an A3 Sportback in white to be able to make a judgement. Anyone seen one in White... any comments.

Just collected my A3 Sportback in MIsano red with S Line trim and 18inch 20 spokes, looks superb, just like the one above. I have never had so many people tell me my car looks great before! But only get the red if you don't live near me in north Hertfordshire!

The local audi dealer to my office had a white sportback in as a demo. Look really good in the flesh. That piccy above doesn;t do that car any justice.

Thanks for the feedback folks,I think i've swayed to the Misano red,but was in the dealers yesterday and you can still get imola yellow in the exclusive range-but then thats another £1000 on top !!,but would look totally one-off.
Will have to make my mind up-its just the 6-12wk wait i'm dreading.
