A3 sport 1.6 ticking noise?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum but seem to have a strange issue? My a3 has started to make a weird noise from the left hand side of the engine. It sounds like tappets, just louder and increase in speed with the engine? I've checked the oil levels and it seems fine, it has just been serviced? The noise sounds as if the timing chain is slapping if that helps? Any help is appreciated

If its coming from the driverside its normally the valve for the charcoal canister, its normal 😊
