hi i have recently bought my wife a a3 cab 2012 and last week she pulled the handle on the passenger seat to tilt it and the lever came of., so im trying to fix it so i have a number of questions
1 my first question is if i get the metal bar out that the lever fits onto, if i push it on will it stay on or should i buy a new one
2 Once the bar is removed or i have got a new lever with the bar piece in it how do i get it back on the spring
3 i belive she has broken it by pulling to hard because i have had the back off and the lever and wires when pulled doesent pull the side the side lugs up enough, i can see in the hole were the top tilt lever was that there is some slack in the wire but i cant for the life of me see how it works or how you would get in to adjust it
ps i have read all the comments about the slide issues but thats not my issue mine is the tilt mechanisim
